Before any ingredient is added to a formula, we review the documentation that comes with it. Every batch we receive arrives with supplier-issued testing results confirming the ingredient meets the standard. If it does not, we don't use it.

Tau Tau Skin products are anhydrous, meaning they contain no water. Water is what forces most skincare to rely on preservatives, stabilizers, and emulsifiers to stay shelf-stable.

Why This Process Matters
Most skincare is built for scale. Water-based formulas are inexpensive to produce and easy to manufacture at volume, but once water is introduced, additional ingredients are usually required to stabilize the formula and maintain shelf life.
Tau Tau Skin starts somewhere else. We use lipid-rich, food-grade ingredients your skin barrier can recognize.
