Why tallow on your lips
Your lips don't have oil glands. They can't moisturize themselves. Most lip balms coat the surface with petroleum or silicone. The moisture never gets in. It sits on top until it wears off and you reach for the tube again. That cycle is the product working as designed. Not for your lips. For your repeat purchases.
Tallow absorbs because your skin recognizes it. One application that actually works means you use less, reapply less, and your lips heal instead of depending.
- No petroleum, no overpowering scent, and no unnecessary fillers.
- No sticky gloss feel — just a soft, hydrated sheen.
- Works as a daily balm, lip prep, or overnight recovery layer.
What changes when you switch.
- It absorbs, not coats. Tallow mirrors your skin's fat profile. Moisture goes in instead of sitting on top.
- You stop reapplying every hour. Beeswax seals. Lanolin holds. One application carries you through the day.
- Seven ingredients. No filler. Everything in the tin has a job. Nothing is there to pad a label.

"I've been chasing the bottom of a Burt's Bees tube my entire adult life. One tin of this and I finally stopped reapplying every twenty minutes. I genuinely don't know what to do with the time."

Who makes this
We got tired of reading ingredient lists we needed a chemistry degree to understand. So we made something different. Something with real ingredients we could actually explain. Every tin is still mixed, poured, and packed by our family. No factory. No middleman. Just us.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does one tin last?
With daily use, two to four months. The tin is 0.33 oz of concentrated formula, which is roughly four times the size of a standard lip balm tube. You'll get there long before it runs out.
Does it taste like beef tallow?
No. Tallow is rendered down to a clean, neutral fat with no flavor. We add the slightest CO₂-extracted vanilla — not enough to taste, just enough to soften the natural scent. Most people describe it as having little to no flavor at all.
Can I use it under lipstick or lip liner?
Yes. Apply a thin layer, let it absorb for a minute, then apply your color. Because tallow penetrates the lip itself instead of sitting on the surface, your lipstick goes on smoother and lasts longer than it does over a petroleum-based balm.
