Unscented - Whipped Body Butter

Truly fragrance-free. No tricks. No masking agents.

Skin that stops reacting. Finally.

Most "unscented" products aren't. They use masking agents — synthetic chemicals added to cancel out other synthetic chemicals. Your skin smells nothing and reacts to everything. That's not a coincidence.
Benefits
  • Eczema friendly
  • Psoriasis friendly
  • Zero fragrance
  • No masking agents
  • Calms reactive skin
  • Pregnancy safe
Why this calms skin when other unscented products don't

Most unscented products remove the scent and leave everything else — preservatives, synthetics, masking agents. This removes all of it. Five ingredients. Tallow matches your skin's fat profile. Jojoba infused with chamomile and calendula actively calms inflammation — not just the absence of irritants, but ingredients that help. If you've tried unscented products and still reacted — the formula is why. This one is different.

The body lotion you used this morning contains ingredients banned across Europe and dozens of other countries — linked to hormone disruption, chronic inflammation, and immune system damage. For skin already dealing with eczema or psoriasis, those aren't abstract risks. Ours doesn't have any of that. Five ingredients. Nothing your skin has to fight. Skin that finally has nothing to react to. That's what five ingredients does. Made for eczema and psoriasis, severely sensitive and reactive skin, rough patches on elbows, knees, and shins, pregnancy, postpartum and breastfeeding, perimenopause and menopause, and for anyone who's been failed by every "gentle" product they've tried. Works at every stage of life. No exceptions.
Five ingredients. Tallow. Jojoba (infused with chamomile + calendula). Olive oil. Beeswax. Honey. That's the whole list.

Your skin doesn't want water. It wants fat.

Which is why every water-based lotion evaporates within the hour — and then requires preservatives, stabilizers, and emulsifiers just to hold the formula together.

  • Tallow matches your skin's own fat composition — it absorbs because your body already knows how to use it, not because it's been engineered to penetrate.
  • Chamomile and calendula-infused jojoba is not just gentle — it's actively soothing — these botanicals have documented anti-inflammatory properties that go beyond simply not irritating skin. They help calm skin that's already inflamed.
  • No water means no preservatives — every ingredient in this jar is doing something for your skin. Nothing exists just to stabilize something else.

Here's what changes first.

What you'll notice when you leave fillers and synthetics behind.

  • The flare-ups start spacing out. Then they stop being the default.
  • You step out of the shower and your skin feels settled — not tight, not reactive, not reaching for the next thing.
  • You stop reading every label. Because you've found the one that works.

What you'll actually notice.

Skin that stops flaring up.

Chamomile and calendula-infused jojoba brings documented anti-inflammatory support directly into the formula. The redness and reactivity that other products aggravate start to quiet instead.

Skin that holds its own moisture.

Your skin already knows how to protect itself. Tallow and beeswax give it the raw materials to do that job. The result is skin that holds moisture on its own and stops feeling like it needs constant attention.

Nothing your skin has to fight.

No fragrance. No masking agents — the chemicals added to cancel out other chemicals. No synthetic anything. What you feel is tallow, jojoba, olive oil, beeswax, and honey. Nothing your skin has to figure out.

Your skin actually recognizes this.

It doesn't recognize your lotion. Tallow's fat profile is the closest thing in nature to your skin's own sebum — it absorbs completely because your body treats it as its own, not as something foreign to process. Delivering vitamins A, D, E, and K to the layers that actually need them.

Who this is for

For every version of your body. At every stage.

Whether your skin has a diagnosis, reacts to everything, or you simply need something you can fully trust — you're in the right place.

  • Your skin has eczema or psoriasis.

    Diagnosed conditions

Most moisturizers — even the ones marketed for sensitive skin — contain preservatives, emulsifiers, and synthetic ingredients that trigger flares. This doesn't. Five ingredients, all organic, none of them on any trigger list. Chamomile and calendula-infused jojoba actively calms inflammation rather than just avoiding it.

  • Every "gentle" product has failed you.

    Severely sensitive skin

You've tried every "fragrance-free" option on the market. Your skin still reacted. That's because most unscented products use masking agents — synthetic chemicals to cancel out other synthetic chemicals. This has no fragrance and no masking agents. Nothing synthetic at all. If your skin has been failed by everything labeled gentle, this is different.

  • Pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding.

    The whole journey

You're being careful about everything you put on your skin. You want something completely clean with nothing to second-guess. Five ingredients, all organic, no synthetic fragrance, no masking agents. The safest option at every stage — and effective enough to handle the dryness and changes your body is going through.

  • Your skin isn't what it used to be.

    Perimenopause and menopause

Estrogen drops and body skin gets drier, thinner, and more reactive. Products that never bothered you before suddenly do. Tallow replaces exactly what hormonal changes take away — in a form your skin already knows how to use. No synthetic anything to react to.

  • You're done putting unknowns on your skin.

    Clean swap

You've read the label on your body lotion. You're not putting it on your skin anymore. Five ingredients. Every one of them something you'd recognize. No fragrance, no fillers, no preservatives. The cleanest formula we make.

What we left out — and why

The body lotion you used this morning is probably illegal in 27 countries.

1,400+ chemicals banned from cosmetics in the EU
vs
11 banned in the U.S.

Every ingredient we didn't use was a decision, not an oversight.

Here's what you'll find in nearly every moisturizer, lotion, and body cream on the shelf — including the ones marketed as gentle or fragrance-free. What those ingredients are doing to your body, and why the industry won't stop using them.

Parabens

Found in
moisturizers serums cleansers makeup

Detected in breast tumor tissue. Linked to hormonal disruption and reduced fertility.

Parabens mimic estrogen in your body. They've been found in breast tumor tissue and are associated with early puberty in children, hormone interference, and reproductive harm across multiple published studies.

Why they're everywhereThey're cheap preservatives that extend shelf life to years. We don't need them because our formula contains no water — nothing for bacteria to grow in.

Phthalates

Found in
fragrance nail polish hair spray lotions

Banned in children's toys in the EU. Still fully legal in U.S. skincare.

Classified as endocrine disruptors. Linked to reproductive harm, lower sperm counts, thyroid interference, and increased risk of childhood asthma. The EU has restricted their use significantly. The U.S. has not.

Why they're everywhereThey make synthetic fragrances last longer and formulas spread more easily. We use no synthetic fragrance and no synthetic carriers.

Masking Agents

Found in
unscented lotions fragrance-free creams sensitive skin products

"Fragrance-free" doesn't mean chemical-free. Masking agents are synthetic chemicals added to cancel out other synthetic chemicals.

Most products labeled unscented still contain masking agents — synthetic compounds designed to neutralize odors from other ingredients. Your nose detects nothing. Your skin is still absorbing them. For people with sensitive skin, eczema, or psoriasis, these hidden ingredients are often the trigger nobody identifies.

Why they're everywhereWater-based formulas require preservatives, and preservatives have odors. Masking agents are cheaper than reformulating. We have no water, no preservatives, and nothing to mask.

SLS / SLES (Sulfates)

Found in
cleansers face wash shampoo body wash

Industrial detergents that strip the exact barrier your skin needs to hold moisture.

Sulfates destroy your skin's lipid barrier — the same barrier that keeps moisture in and irritants out. They're a primary cause of the tight, dry, sensitive feeling after washing that sends people reaching for more product.

Why they're everywhereThey create foam. People associate lather with clean. Your skin doesn't need foam. It needs its natural oils left intact.

Dimethicone (Silicones)

Found in
primers moisturizers serums foundations

Creates the illusion of smooth skin. Underneath that film, your skin can't breathe.

Silicones coat the skin in a synthetic film. Underneath it, your skin can't shed dead cells normally, pores can become congested, and dullness accumulates over time. The smoothness is real. The skin health it implies is not.

Why it's everywhereIt makes skin feel silky instantly — before anything has actually changed. That instant gratification is the product. Beeswax creates a genuinely breathable barrier without the synthetic film.

Water

Found in
listed as "aqua" #1 ingredient in most skincare

Dilutes everything you're paying for. Then requires preservatives to compensate.

Water itself isn't harmful. But when it's the formula base, it dilutes the active ingredients you're actually buying, and it forces the addition of preservatives, stabilizers, and emulsifiers to prevent spoilage. Most of those preservatives are the parabens on this list.

Why it's everywhereWater is the cheapest ingredient in skincare. It pads formulas and keeps margins high. Our body butter is 100% active ingredients. Nothing diluted. Nothing needs preserving.

Sensitization Over Time

Repeated exposure to synthetic preservatives, fragrance, and masking agents trains your immune system to react more aggressively with each encounter. Skin that tolerated products for years suddenly doesn't. This isn't random — it's the cumulative effect of ingredients that were never compatible with sensitive skin, compounding over time until the reaction becomes unavoidable.

Flare Cycle Dependency

Eczema and psoriasis flares are often triggered by the same products people use to manage them. Conventional moisturizers temporarily relieve dryness while their synthetic ingredients trigger inflammation underneath. The flare subsides. The product gets reapplied. The cycle continues. The product isn't failing — it's working exactly as designed, just not for you.

Barrier Damage

Sulfates, synthetic emulsifiers, and silicone films gradually erode the skin's ability to maintain its own barrier. For skin with eczema or psoriasis — where the barrier is already compromised — this accelerates the problem. Your skin becomes increasingly dependent on external moisture because its ability to self-regulate has been steadily undermined.

Cumulative Hormone Disruption

Parabens, phthalates, and synthetic fragrance compounds all mimic or interfere with estrogen. Body lotion covers more surface area than any other skincare product — meaning the absorption load is higher than face products. Daily use across years creates a cumulative burden your endocrine system was never designed to handle.

You've been reaching for gentler products and still reacting. That's not a coincidence — it's what happens when "gentle" still means synthetic. Five ingredients. No fragrance. No masking agents. No synthetics of any kind. Nothing for your skin to react to. That's the actual solution.

Most of those 32 ingredients exist to stabilize, preserve, or mask the water that makes up 70% of the formula. Ours doesn't have water. So we don't need any of that.

"I'd been through two prescriptions and more creams than I can count. Nothing lasted. This is the first thing that's actually kept my skin calm and hydrated without a reaction. No scent, no mystery ingredients, no drama."

How to use

Less than you think. Every time.

No complicated routine. Apply it once and move on with your day.

  1. 1

    Right after your shower.

Damp, warm skin is the key. The moisture and warmth help it absorb completely and go further.

  2. 2

    Less than you think.

A small scoop. Warm it between your palms for a few seconds until it melts down. That's when it's ready.

  3. 3

    Smooth and press in.

Apply to legs, arms, anywhere dry. Rub gently. Let your skin absorb it rather than pushing it around.

  4. 4

    Give it a moment.

It absorbs slower than lotion. That's not a flaw — that's actual nourishment staying put. Get dressed and you're done.

Frequently Asked Questions

Doesn't tallow smell?

No, our products do not have a beefy smell. Through our rendering process as well as the additional natural ingredients, our unscented products have little to no smell. The natural ingredients absorb into the skin leaving little to no scent, making it perfect for those who prefer unscented skincare.

We offer both scented and unscented body butters to suit your preference. Our scented body butters are made with 100% plant-based fragrances, providing a light, pleasant aroma without any synthetic chemicals or artificial fragrances. If you prefer a completely neutral option, our unscented body butters are free from added fragrance but still offer all the nourishing benefits of tallow.

This product also contains no masking agents — chemicals used by some brands to neutralize other ingredient smells. What you're smelling, if anything, is just the natural base.

Is your product safe for sensitive skin? Does it help with eczema and psoriasis?

Yes, our products are safe for sensitive skin and have been beneficial for people with conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Since we use only natural, gentle ingredients without synthetic chemicals, fragrances, or harsh additives, our products are ideal for those with sensitive or reactive skin.

Many of our customers with eczema and psoriasis have reported great results. The tallow in our formulations is rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, which help soothe and nourish irritated skin, reduce inflammation, and restore the skin’s natural barrier. Its deep moisturizing properties can alleviate dryness, itching, and flare-ups commonly associated with these conditions, helping to promote healthier, more comfortable skin. The chamomile and calendula infused into our jojoba oil provides additional anti-inflammatory support specifically beneficial for eczema and psoriasis-prone skin — beyond what the base formula alone delivers.

We always recommend performing a patch test first to ensure your skin responds well to the product.

Why does my body butter feel grainy sometimes? Is there something wrong?

Our body butter is made with all-natural ingredients and is free from synthetic chemicals or preservatives. The grainy texture you occasionally feel is perfectly normal and happens because the natural fats in the tallow can crystallize at different rates and sizes during temperature changes.

We take great care during our melting and formulation process to minimize this effect, but sometimes it’s unavoidable due to the nature of the ingredients and their sensitivity to temperature changes.

If you notice a grainy texture, simply warm the body butter in your hands before applying. It will melt beautifully, absorbing into your skin to provide the same deep hydration and nourishment.

This texture is a sign of a pure formula — no synthetic stabilizers.

Will your products leave my skin feeling greasy?

Tallow absorbs differently than water-based lotion — slower, which is why it lasts longer. Start with a small amount on damp skin right after your shower and it absorbs fully, no residue.

Is it pregnancy safe?

Yes. Our products were created and used during pregnancy and are made with gentle, nourishing ingredients meant to support the skin during sensitive seasons like pregnancy. That said, every body is different, so we always recommend reviewing the ingredient list and checking with your healthcare provider if you have specific concerns or sensitivities.

Why does the color or consistency of my product look or feel different from photos or previous orders?

Natural ingredients aren't uniform. Botanicals and oils shift in color from harvest to harvest, season to season. Grass-fed tallow from spring pasture looks different from tallow rendered in late fall — the animal's diet and the time of year both affect the final color and texture.

Consistency can also vary slightly. Temperature during shipping and storage, humidity, and natural variation between batches can all make a product feel slightly firmer or softer than a previous tin.

What never changes is the formulation, the sourcing standards, and how the product performs. The photos on our site show a representative batch. Variation in color or texture is proof that we're not using synthetic dyes, artificial colorants, or chemical stabilizers to force uniformity — because we're not.

What’s the difference between your Face Balm and Body Butter? I noticed they have the same ingredients.

Same core ingredients, different consistency and proportion. The body butter is whipped to a lighter texture suited for larger surface areas. The Face Balm is denser, formulated for targeted facial application. Both are completely waterless.
