Our scented body butters are made with 100% plant-based fragrances, providing a light, pleasant aroma without any synthetic chemicals or artificial fragrances. We take great care during our melting and formulation process to minimize this effect, but sometimes it’s unavoidable due to the nature of the ingredients and their sensitivity to temperature changes.
If you notice a grainy texture, simply warm the body butter in your hands before applying. It will melt beautifully, absorbing into your skin to provide the same deep hydration and nourishment.

Why does the color or consistency of my product look or feel different from photos or previous orders?
Natural ingredients aren't uniform. Botanicals and oils shift in color from harvest to harvest, season to season. Grass-fed tallow from spring pasture looks different from tallow rendered in late fall — the animal's diet and the time of year both affect the final color and texture.
